I’m the Pastor of First Presbyterian Church (EPC) of Stanton, KY, a small town southeast of Lexington. I’m originally from another small town in Kentucky. I’ve enjoyed the mountains and forests all my life, and am astounded at God’s great artistry in His work of creation and His gracious, providential sustaining of all that He created. More than God’s revelation of His glory in creation, I love His special written revelation – the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments – because it’s in the pages of Holy Scripture that I see Him clearly by the power of the Holy Spirit working in and through the inspired Word. I write things (sermons, essays, poetry, short stories, plays, etc.) and read a lot; these two things are certainly intertwined. My desire is to live the life the Lord has given me for the glory of God and the good of His people, trusting ever in His magnificent grace in my Lord Jesus Christ!
